ABOUT the FLASCO Cancer Trials Network (FCTN)
The FLASC0 (Florida Association of Clinical Oncology) Cancer Trials Network was created to provide a framework for cooperation and collaboration among community practices and academic centers in the state of Florida . The goal of the network is to increase the number of high quality cancer trials available across the state and, thereby, increase patient access to clinical trials.
FLASCO believes that advances in cancer care based on well-conducted clinical trials will help reduce the rates of cancer incidence and mortality, improve quality of life and minimize the impact of cancer for all Floridians.
Our mission is to deliver state-of-the-art cancer care to patients in their communities through clinical trials. We believe that a clinical trial is often the best, and sometimes the only, treatment option available for patients with cancer.
